Jason's having a tough week at work. Profits are down, lawsuits are up, and worst of all, his boss has begun to suspect the truth: that Jason's trying to ruin the company by keeping its customers alive. See, Jason's been hired at Legacy Letters to help clients craft the perfect suicide note. But he seems to have his own agenda... A subversive, darkly comic play about opportunism and that elusive thing called redemption.
Suicide, Incorporated by Andrew Hinderaker was Knock And Run Theatre’s first ever show. Staged in 2016 at The Black Box Theatre, “Suicide, Inc” was a critical success and kicked off our company. The original production was directed by Patrick Campbell and assisted by Zoe Anderson. The cast included James Chapman as Jason, Phillip Ross as Scott, Lindsay McDonald as Tommy, Carl Gregory as Norm and Cooper McDonald as Perry. The show was nominated for 3 CONDA awards: Best Director (Drama) for Patrick Campbell, Best Lighting Design for Lyndon Buckley and it won the CONDA for Best Dramatic Production.
In 2019, Knock And Run staged a return season, this time at Newcastle Theatre Company. The original directing team returned and Chapman, Ross, Gregory and Cooper McDonald all reprised their roles. Joining them was Ned Keogh who replaced Lindsay McDonald in the role of Tommy.
